Further quantitative research non-BIG registered psychologists and orthopedagogues

The NIVEL report "The labor of psychologists, orthopedagogues and mental health nurse specialists in 2012" showed that a large number of master psychologists and orthopedagogues in the various branches of industry health and welfare are employed without BIG register. The exact number is not known since only individuals were approached in December 2011 through a sample of the masters who are members of the NIP or the NRC. The psychologists and orthopedagogues who are not members of the NIP and the NRC (and not BIG-registered) but are employed in health care, are probably providing a substantial amount of care.
How many non-BIG-registered psychologists and orthopedagogues in the year 2012 are employed in health care and what is their current / future employment in care?
Because there is no central register where non-BIG-registered psychologists and orthopedagogues are registered, this should be done by approaching the institutions where they supposedly work. These are probably the same kind of settings where non-BIG registered NIP and NRC members are employed. They can be traced by approaching a sample of such institutions. Subsequently, the employed non-BIG registered psychologists and orthopedagogues will be approached.
(1) the current labor supply in persons and FTEs of non-BIG-registered psychologists and orthopedagogues in the Netherlands, (2) a comparison of the labor supply of non-BIG-registered psychologists and orthopedagogues with the labor supply of the BIG-registered professions and (3) a description of 'upward' task reallocation and 'downward' task reallocation.
