The labor market for midwives in the Netherlands. A manpower planning study based on policy rich scenarios

Several societal and policy developments urge the need to execute planning the midwife workforce, currently and in 10 years.
How will the demand and supply of midwives in the Netherlands evolve in the next decade, depending on a number of scenarios, and what does this mean for the inflow in training?
Scenario workshops will be conducted with mixed groups of experts and stakeholders in the delivery chain. These scenarios will deliver input for projecting the future demand and supply of midwives, and the required training inflow.
Insight in the current and future Dutch midwife workforce, and the impact of policy rich scenarios on the required midwife training inflow to sustain labor market equilibrium.
