Monitor Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wkkgz)

At the end of 2015, the Wkkgz was adopted by the First Chamber. The Minister has promised an annual monitor Wkkgz. With the proposed monitor, NIVEL wants to provide insight into how the law is implemented by healthcare providers covered by the Wkkgz.

In have care providers implemented the right to complain, as laid down in the Wkkgz? What are the main developments in the area of complaint law as formulated in the Wkkgz?

This monitor Wkkgz will largely consist of using published research data and information on websites. Also new information will be collected.

A questionnaire will be submitted to complaints officers to understand the changes that have occurred as a result of the Wkkgz in the handling of complaints and the consequences of the Wkkgz for this occupational group

This monitor gives insight into the current state of affairs from the perspective of the Wkkgz's objectives in the area of complaint law. This insight can be used to support the Wkkgz implementation process.
