Palliative care at home: the development of a quality standard for (community) nurses and carers

Duration: October 2016 - March 2018

Good palliative care at home requires clarity about roles and about necessary cooperation between home care and GP . A quality standard can provide that clarity .
How should an evidence-based quality standard for (district) nurses and carers, with the title Palliative Home Care, be realized?

The project has three phases:
In phase I, the preparation phase, relevant stakeholders are further identified and the project structure is completed .
The second phase, the development phase , is intended to collect building blocks for the quality standard. Therefore, problem analysis , literature review and consultation with nurses and carers will take place.
In the third, final phase , the text for the quality standard will be written.
