Development of a module to assess prevention and interventions on NCDs for the Primary Care Evaluation Tool (PCET)
The Primary Care Evaluation Tool (PCET) has been developed by NIVEL for the WHO Regional Office for Europe to assess primary care development in countries in transition. Since 2008 the PCET has been applied in a series of countries. WHO now has asked NIVEL to develop an additional module for the PCET, focussing on the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in primary care.
- What is the evidence for effective prevention and treatment of NCDs in primary care?
- Can an instrument be developed to assess these activities in primary care systems in the European Region of WHO?
- Literature study
- Questionnaire development and testing
