Visit of Swedish GP delegation
 
A Swedish delegation of 7 General Practitioners (GPs) visited NIVEL on 12 November  2012. The Swedish government aims to start a national network of GP data containing information on morbidity and care provided to their patients. Moreover, they want to gain insight in the variation in provided care between practices and the variation in the quality of care provided between practices. This information could help them to improve the quality of care.

WHO projects

 NIVEL has been a WHO Collaborating Centre since 1987. In that role NIVEL has contributed to the support of health care reforms in the WHO European Region. NIVEL is currently carrying out several projects commissioned by WHO. The projects are intended to provide countries with information and mechanisms to support policy to strengthen the primary care level of health care.
