As a junior researcher at Nivel, my work focuses on infectious diseases, with research interests in respiratory viruses and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). My past and current research covers SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza co-circulation, human metapneumovirus (hMPV) seasonality, and factors influencing true burden estimation of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). I have a broad interest in AMR, particularly from cross-sectoral public health and policy perspectives, and worked on the international DESIGN project on AMR governance. I am passionate about approaching infectious diseases from a systems perspective, bringing together my interests in disease surveillance, public health, governance and policy.
