QUALICOPC meeting for national coordinators at NIVEL

From March 17th to 22nd the national coordinators involved in the QUALICOPC (Quality and Costs of Primary Care in Europe) project visited NIVEL for a meeting to prepare the primary care data collection in 31 European countries.

QUALICOPC is a multi-country study coordinated by NIVEL and aims to evaluate primary care against criteria of quality, costs and equity. Data on primary care practices and patients’ experiences will be collected by means of surveys among general practitioners and their patients in 31 European countries. To this end, in each country a national expert will facilitate the coordination of the fieldwork.

In March, two meetings for national coordinators were held. A number of the national coordinators came to NIVEL to discuss how the fieldwork will be carried out in each country. The fieldwork activities will take place between April and November of this year. Both meetings were very productive and lead to a positive start in the collaboration between the QUALICOPC consortium and all the coordinators.
