Research program Nursing Care and Elderly Care

Program coordination by Nivel expert professor Anneke Francke, PhD

Anneke FranckeHow do nurses experience their work? We ask them what it takes to optimize their work and working conditions in order to improve in order to improve nursery care and make it more sustainable.
Furthermore we focus on the care for the elderly. In an ageing society with growing shortages of care professionals, choices are inevitable; it is then important to have good insight into what really contributes to the quality of life. We focuson the quality of elderly care from the perspective of the elderly themselves, that of informal care givers and that of the care professionals involved.
