Veel interventies bij therapietrouw zijn gebrekkig onderbouwd. Bovendien blijken de huidige theorieën ontoereikend. Het NIVEL ging op zoek naar nieuwe wegen. Belangrijke conclusies: therapietrouw bevorderen is maatwerk en moet in samenspraak met de patiënt gebeuren.
