Emphasis: non-physical symptoms in relation to the actual and perceived exposure to EMF and the underlying mechanisms (2010-2012)
Duration: Jan 2010 - Dec 2012
Background
Is there a possible (perceived) connection between exposure to electromagnetic fields and unexplained physical symptoms? The incidence and prevalence of these symptoms has been little studied in relation to independent and/or mediating effects.
Research question
What is the incidence and prevalence of non-specific physical symptoms in relation to exposure (actual and perceived) to electromagnetic fields?
Method
A survey among 5,000 to 12,000 adults (18+), linked to the individual level (morbidity data from EHRs of general practitioners from LINH network) and the geographic level (especially UMTS masts and also other sources of electromagnetic fields).
Result
A report and scientific articles.
